Town Council Resident Engagement Events
PRESS RELEASE
Town Council Resident Engagement Events
Stone Town Council have announced that they will be piloting a series of resident engagement events to be held at the Frank Jordan Centre this summer.
The purpose of these events is to give Stone residents the opportunity to meet Town Councillors face to face and discuss any local issues that might be affecting them. The first of the three pilot events will take place on Wednesday the 8th June from 6:30-8:30pm.
Residents can book a 10 minute slot with a Councillor in advance by emailing the Town Council at clerk@stonetowncouncil.gov.uk, or by telephoning 01785 619740. Alternatively, and subject to availability, residents can walk in to the Frank Jordan Centre on the evening and speak to a Councillor without making an appointment.
Councillor Rob Kenney, Chairman of the Council’s General Purposes Committee, said “We hope that Stone residents will take this opportunity to meet their Town Councillors and discuss issues important to them and the town. If this pilot is a success, we would hope to be able to continue these events on a regular basis.”
