Stone Banking Hub
PRESS RELEASE
Stone Banking Hub
Stone Town Council is pleased to be continuing its association with Cash Access UK to retain the Banking Hub at the Frank Jordan Centre for an extended period beyond the originally planned closing date of December 2024.
The Banking Hub has provided essential services to Stone residents, which have become more critical since Stone’s last High Street bank recently closed.
The arrangements at the Frank Jordan Centre, which the Town Council have hosted since June, were always intended to be temporary whilst Cash Access UK finalise a permanent Banking Hub location for the town. Arrangements for a permanent Hub in the High Street have now been made, and the Town Council are pleased to be able to continue to support the temporary Hub until the permanent facility can be opened.
Councillor Rob Kenney, Chairman of the Council’s General Purposes Committee, said “The Town Council is aware how important banking facilities are to the town, and the need to ensure that they are available to residents. We are pleased to be able to continue to provide support for the Banking Hub whilst new, permanent facilities are being prepared for opening”.
