Classic Car Event

Following last year’s successful event, Stone Town Council will again play host to a large collection of Classic Cars on Saturday 21st September. The event will take over the High Street and Market Square between 10:30am and 3:00pm.

Local Resident Peter Cresswell of Stone Classic Car Group has coordinated his friends and colleagues bringing their Classic Cars to Stone and there is sure to be a car to provoke excitement even for the oldest memory.

Councillor Jill Hood, Chairman of the Council’s Tourism and Town Promotion Sub-Committee said “The Town Council is pleased to be able to bring a Classic Car event to Stone High Street once again. With a wide range of vehicles dating from the 1930s to the 1980s there is sure to be something for everyone. It has been a pleasure to work alongside Peter to bring this event to fruition.”
