Elves and the Shoemaker – Stone Heritage Centre
Stone Town Council is pleased to announce an exciting and immersive free event for local children on Monday 14th April, 10.30am – 11.30am at the Stone Heritage Centre. The event, centered around Elves and the Shoemaker Storytime and Crafts, offers young participants a unique opportunity to explore the fascinating world of storytelling and craft.
The session will feature an engaging Storytime experience where children will be immersed in the classic tale of Elves and the Shoemaker, with a special Staffordshire twist. In addition to the storytelling, participants will have the chance to explore real shoemaking tools, learn about the rich history of Staffordshire shoemaking, and join in hands-on craft activities suitable for children aged 1-6.
This event is designed to encourage creativity and learning in a fun, interactive environment. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
